The IZZI Summer Vacation ATL also has open enrollment for children from 5 years old and will run in July and August, between 8:30 am and 6:00 pm. The program of activities of this Summer ATL presents a great diversity of fun occupations for the youngest, such as SUP (Stand Up Paddel), Bowling, Mini Golf, Karate, Lego® Serious Play®, cooking, traditional games, trips to the beach and the pool, among others, including programming and creating video games. Children can attend from one to four weeks, all day or just half a day, as well as single days or the four days from August 14 to 18, and anyone who registers more than one child is entitled to a discount.

This language school and study center has also prepared a wide agenda of activities for the summer of 2023 in Figueira da Foz. MORE SURFING ASSOCIATION
the Development Association + Surf ensures this year another program “SURF NO VERÃO”, with surf and bodysurf lessons and various recreational activities, from July 3 to September 1, 2023. The activities take place from Monday to Friday, from 9am to 5:30pm and are open to children aged 7 to 12, with limited places.

NAVAL REMO
School Holidays in Motion, is the proposal of Naval Remo for its Summer Camp 2023, based on a pedagogical and animation project focused, of course, on water sports and rowing in particular, the club’s queen sport. A program for young people between 8 and 18 years old. The Naval Summer Camp starts on June 19 and ends on September 8, operating every working day between 09H00 and 17H00, and there may be an extra period for an additional fee.
According to the organization, “The Summer Camp will operate in different areas according to the established objectives, namely those of a sporting, cultural, social and human nature. To this end, the activities to be established are part of these areas, with emphasis on the integration and communion with the natural elements: the river, the beach, the mountains and the sea and also the knowledge of the city, its history and culture. In addition to these, activities will also be planned that stimulate the functioning of children in groups and in society, fulfilling a set of societal values”..

GYMNASIUM CLUB FIGUEIRENSE
The Gymnasium also organizes its sports Summer Camp, open from July to August. It is “an experience of multi-sports and other recreational and cultural activities”, which will operate every weekday from 9:30 am to 6 pm, with lunch and food reinforcements included. “It’s going to be 6 weeks of lots of sport and fun”, promises the club. Activities include basketball, badminton, soccer, kickboxing, swimming, rowing, rugby, table tennis, shooting, volleyball, chess and recreational and cultural activities, with a discount for members.

NAUTICAL CLUB OF FIGUEIRA DA FOZ
In the summer course of the Clube Náutico da Figueira da Foz, young people between 7 and 17 years old will be able to feel the sensation of sailing by their own means in a sailing boat. In addition to sailing, during the summer course, there are also the disciplines of motorboating and padle. These activities are held in the estuary of the Mondego River and ocean bay of Figueira da Foz and start on July 17, from Monday to Friday, from 09:30 to 13:00. Dude Surf School, based in the inevitable Praia do Cabedelo, has also prepared its children and youth program for the summer of 2023. ABFM
The Foz do Mondego Bodyboard Association also bets on the Summer Clinics model, with activities aimed at children between 6 and 18 years old. The program starts on 26 June and the Clinics run until 8 September. Clinics are held Monday to Friday from 9am to 12pm, with surfing and bodyboarding experiences and lessons throughout the week. ABFM provides all materials and insurance. The activities take place at Praia da cova Gala.

The Tua Cara Association, based at the Caras Direitas Theatre in Buarcos, also offers various leisure programs during the summer vacations, for all ages and tastes. These are mainly proposals in the arts, as is the hallmark of the dynamic association: “We propose to fill the kids’ free time with workshops and workshops, where they will be allowed to explore different areas. We have Music and Painting workshops for all ages and also Atelier das Artes for adults where you can train intuitive painting and expand your creative side. For high school students with a penchant for biology and the sea, Laboratório Marefoz has open registration for the Saber+ @MAREFOZ Bootcamp, which will take place from September 4 to 8, 2023, at the UC Campus in Figueira da Foz and at Laboratório MAREFOZ. “This course presents an interactive program of introduction to the scientific method in the field of marine sciences. Participants will have the opportunity to learn and apply scientific research techniques used in ecology studies in estuaries and coastal areas.“

FIGUEIRA DA FOZ ADVENTURE PARK
And if you still don’t know what to do in Figueira da Foz in the summer, here is another option, although without organized programming is the Adventure Park, whose strong dish is Arborism, which consists of making routes in height in the trees with several challenges: Crossings of nets, slides with more than 100 meters, bridges of boards and nets, tunnels of net and wood, spider webs, etc. Special conditions for groups over 10 people. This tree climbing park is located next to the Gymnasium Figueirense pavilion, in a space with picnic tables. It’s not really for children, but aimed at pre-university students. In a differentiating proposal, the office of Figueirense architect Jorge Bártolo organizes the“Architecture Summer Camp“.
