The Municipality of Figueira da Foz promotes, on June 1 and June 3 and 4, a diversified program of activities commemorating World Children’s Day.
On June 1, the activities, which take place between 10 am and 4 pm, are aimed at the school community (pre-school to 2nd CEB), and take place at the Pedro Fernandes Tomás Municipal Library, at the Santos Rocha Municipal Museum, at the Madalena Biscaia Perdigão Auditorium, at the Arts and Shows Center and at the Municipal Garden. The program includes several recreational activities: “Stories in the Library”; “Shadow Theater” sessions; Traditional games in the Garden; “Behind the Stage” – CAE discovery visit; “The Generous Tree” theater; “Create with paper – origami workshop” and “Dance and movement workshop”.

On the weekend, June 3 and 4, activities take place in the Municipal Garden, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., and are aimed at families.
To animate and delight kids and adults there will be “giant soap bubbles”, popcorn machine, face painting and balloon modeling, animation on stilts, archery, animation – Alice in Wonderland. The Bandstand is ‘reserved’ for puppet theater sessions (11h00) and “Alice in Wonderland” (at 15h00).
