Ivan’s Childhood, one of the masterpieces of the great Russian filmmaker Andrei Tarkovsky, on which a Cycle is taking place at CAE, “The Cinema of the Absolute”, will be screened this Friday in the João César Monteiro Room, followed by an after-movie concert in the center’s interior gardens.
Synopsis: After losing his parents in World War II, young Ivan begins working for the Soviet army as a scout in the rear of the German defense and eventually forms a friendship with three Soviet officers.
