The biggest festivities in the municipality are back, with a wide range of culture and entertainment, open-air concerts, fairs, Popular Marches, Blessing of the Sea and the famous fireworks on the night of June 23.
This year’s celebrations feature some novelties, such as the Sardine Festival, from June 9 to 11, for the first time on the left bank, at Portinho da Gala, which now benefits from regular river transportation. Parque das Gaivotas, as usual, will host the St. John’s Fair, with carousels and entertainment for all ages, from June 15 to 26.
