When nature gives you wind… enjoy it. This is what the Parish Council of Quiaios does, which will carry out the second edition of the largest kite event in the region, this time with a vast recreational program, competitions and demonstrations, with epicenter in the windy sand of Quiaios Beach.
According to the organization, “There are giant kites, from the teams R-Sky (France), Cores ao Vento (Portugal) and Cabeças no Ar…te (Portugal), synchronized flight shows, with two and four-line acrobatic kites from the teams Vortex (Spain), Vientu Sur (Spain) and Expokite (Portgual), free kite-building workshops and lots of children’s entertainment. On Saturday night, the giant kites light up and synchronized flights promise luminous dances in the sky. On both days, the party ends with music on the beach.”
