Synopsis: Inspector Maugin is constantly on the trail of small-time drug dealers. During a raid, he meets Noria, the girlfriend of a criminal, and falls in love with her. She becomes his mistress, putting his life in danger. A disturbing Sophie Marceau in combination with a touching Gérard Depardieu, who plays the tough police officer.
