Hatzín, a Mexican teenager who lives with his grandmother, travels to collect the remains of his father, of whom he has only memories and photographs and who was found in a mass grave in the vast desert landscape of Mexico. On her return, she has an unexpected encounter with Mario, a man identical to her father. Convinced that it is his father, he insists on staying close to Mario. As he becomes involved in his world, he is confronted with a series of moral dilemmas and questions that go far beyond his maturity.
